VARIED AND COMPLEMENTARY SOILS...
To the north of the Pouilly Fume area, on the hillsides which overlook the Loire, the Château de Tracy vineyard extends from "Tracy hill" to the "Champs de Cris" plateau.

The vines are exclusively of the Sauvignon variety. The varied soil on the property (flint and chalk) brings out all the nobility and strength of this exceptional cepage. |
The clayey flint soil of th Tracy Hill gives a very assertive character to the wines. The wines are powerful and distinct.
|

The calcareous kimmeridge and Portland clay of the "Plateau du Champs de Cri" produces rich, elegant wines which complement the clayey soils.
The two together enable us to produce complex aromas and tastes.
